Android 2.3 SDK released, Gingerbread with new features

Today Google announces a new version of the Android platform called the Android 2.3(Gingerbread). This release has many advantages compared to the previous once. It even has a better look along with the speed boost also.
Google says, “The platform now supports extra large screen sizes, such as those that might be found on tablet devices.”

New feature:
1.SIP-based VOIP: The platform now includes a SIP protocol stack and framework API that lets developers build internet telephony applications.

2.Near Field Communications (NFC)

3.Gyroscope and other sensors such as rotation vector, linear acceleration, gravity, and barometer

4.Multiple cameras support

and Mixable audio effects,Download manager,Extra Large Screens for tablets and Graphics are just simply awesome

It has a one touch select and copy/paste option with faster and control over all the applications in instant. The best is organizing things in our own way, this is the best part of all. And you no need to refresh everytime as of the previous versions, it is pretty fast to handle applications.
