The end of IPv4. Lets welcome IPv6

In our previous posts regarding this IPv4 we have said that it would get exhausted by the year 2012 but its no more till 2012 it's ending by the mid of this year say within few months. So now lets welcome IPv6, You do not need to change your system if you bought your system in these recent years say 3 years back from now. Because Intel, AMD and many other brands of motherboards have already updated their IPv6 internally. Check the below picture you can see a protocol version named IPv6.

The Internet Society, an organization dedicated to the good of the Internet, is organizing "World IPv6 Day" on June 8 of this year. Web giants Facebook, Yahoo, and Google, with a combined one billion visitors per day, are participating by enabling IPv6 for their main services that day. But unlike during the IETF IPv6 experiment, IPv4 won't be turned off.

The Internet runs out of addresses in less than a year
Experts Say Internet Could Run Out of Addresses by 2012

The last few IPv4 blocks are trickling away, drip by drip. The slow, steady march to address-space exhaustion is now in its last three to six months.

"Following on from APNIC's earlier assessment that they would need to request the last available /8 blocks, they have now been allocated 39/8 and 106/8, triggering ARIN's final distribution of blocks to the RIRs. According to the release, 'APNIC expects normal allocations to continue for a further three to six months.'"
