Dual Core Computer in a Pen Drive

Norwegian Company FXI Technologies has created the worst smallest computer which fits in a USB drive, which is way more than a normal pen drive.

This small device converts your laptop, desktop or a TV which supports HDMI into a computer.

The code name for this device is Cotton Candy,it is a prototype USB device that is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Samsung Exynos ARM CPU and runs Google’s Android operating system.
All you need to operate this computer is a display, which can either be an HDTV, or a Mac or Windows PC. This computer-in-pen drive comes with connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI-out and a microSD car slot. With HDMI, it can be connected to a TV as well.

The Bluetooth option in Cotton Candy enables the users to connect a keyboard and a mouse, which makes the set up of a mobile PC. According to a Tech 2 report, it can be connected to a computer via the USB, which enables the users to use Android inside a secure window on top of your Mac or Windows OS.

It weighs just 21 grams and the biggest feature is its size and portability.

“With the broad acceptance of Cloud computing and the advancement in processor technologies, the concept of a “screenless PC” is a natural evolution in the form factor of computing devices,” said Jon Peddie, president of Jon Peddie and Associates.
